OPE! I missed the mark of sending this December 1.

❆We have re-introduced the WW Meter and dispensers for the meter may be found in the Family Center Birth Center, the University Classroom C and of course at the Welcome Center where folks who aren’t part of the LCAR automatically rez in first. Please know if you have decided to dance with a Bison, Boar or Rattlesnake, and Admin will not automatically revive you. You will need to find a healer to do so.

❆Region Security –
Recently we’ve had a spate of folks threatening retaliatory reporting of others because they were called out for rules violations or just because they didn’t like someone. Please turn on logging so you can protect yourself from this behavior if you need to file an appeal with Linden Labs and if you are looking to roleplay in our community please wear the WW Meter. If you don’t know how to use the WW Meter, don’t worry – we have a bunch of classes planned for these this month. Those will be listed below.

❆❆Citizenship has its perks. We all protect each other.
That said – we will revoke citizenship for anyone who uses resources of the community for purposes of violation of rule 3. This is the No drama llama rule.
Trying to cancel other members and get them removed without cause will cause you to be found in violation of Rule 3.

❆❆Attempting to Appeal your friend SL Family Member’s removal from the Group and or banning from the LCAR Region –
Our Admins and Owners don’t make these decisions lightly and they are discussed in full by our owner/admin team. If you know of someone who was removed and or ejected and permanently removed or simply asked to not return to our community: we will not debate nor discuss the owners decision regarding removal of a member due to rule violations from the LCAR group with a third party.

❆❆Are you sometimes bothered with having to stop having fun growing and cooking food for your personal use or your bakery, maybe even your five star restaurant just to keep up with harvesting food for your farm animals?

❆❆Well, Deputy Artimus hasgot good news for LCAR………COMING SOON!!!! “LCAR FEED & SEED” he’ll take that burden off your back so that you can focus on your baking, cooking, stewing..heck even making your oopsie’s. Either way you can now simply stop by the feed store and stock up.

This is a long list of events happening this month in the LCAR regions
Let me remind y’all that the LCAR is made up of many regions but the listing of events here are all in our “Capital CIty” of Cloudcroft, in Lincoln County NM or our neighboring region of Horten County. Many of these events will be listed in the events listing on the Second Life website, but some may be found only in our group notices.

❆❆❆6pm – Talon Hawks LIVE at the Wild Mustang Saloon
For over 30 years Talon Hawks has been entertaining with his guitar and a range of songs that can have us singing along Covering artists from Gordon Lightfoot to Tom Petty, Talon brings his warm personality, sense of humour and story telling skills to the stage for each and every performance.

❆❆❆6pm – Anj Gustafson LIVE at the Wild Mustang Saloon
Keyboardist/guitarist/flautist/vocalist Andreus ‘Anj’ Gustafson has been performing in RL for many years. He has toured the USA, Japan and Korea in cover bands since the late 1980’s and now brings a collection of his original tunes and songs that he likes in to Second Life in hopes of finding others who also enjoy the same sort of popular, though slightly eclectic, tastes as he does. Musical styles include alternative, pop and progressive rock with a definite electronica influence.

At a typical Anj performance, one just might hear songs by artists such as Pink Floyd, Billy Idol, The Beatles, Coldplay, STP, Collective Soul, Radiohead, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Willie Porter, Jethro Tull, Matchbox 20, Sting…. etc. Plus a few original songs thrown in for good measure. There is sure to be a little something for everyone.

❆❆December 4 –

❆❆❆11am Join us as we travel via train from the Cloudcroft Train Station to the Lincoln Forest to pick our tree, cut it, and get it back down the mountain via a train for our town’s Christmas event!

If you are a citizen of the LCAR: please bring an ornament (1LI please) to put on the tree for the season! These will be sent back to you when the holiday season is over so please don’t use something that would be lost forever if it was returned by an admin.

❆❆❆The Wild Mustang Saloon is hosting “Jed Luckless 2021 Holiday Revue!”

We hope you will join us for our 13th annual holiday concert, featuring your favorite holiday songs performed live by Jed Luckless.

As always, the show is a benefit, and this year’s charity is The Actors Fund which fosters stability and resiliency, and provides a safety net for performing arts and entertainment professionals over their lifespan.

The concert will take place on Tuesday, December 21st at Wild Mustang Saloon in Secondife and will be broadcast live on Facebook at facebook.com/thejedstead.

There could be more events than just what we have listed here – so don’t be shy about coming on by. Remember you have to have citizenship to have rez rights unless you are an entertainer.
If you want to host an event – please don’t be shy and drop off a note card in the Welcome Center specifically asking about it. Just remember we are a WW Meter using Family Roleplay Community. It’s your fault if you decide to pet a bison and get mauled.
